Well I found out this morning that my layout (see below) Love, the 2nd time around – is the featured layout/banner at the Webster’s Pages Inspire Me site this week. I am soooo excited about this! It’s the second time they have selected something I made for this honor. I LOVE their products! The patterns and colors are sooo wonderful and the weight of the papers is ideal for me. I even love the way they smell… come on now, you know scrappy goodness all smells great! LOL So here you go, the layout and a close up from the title area.

I got an email yesterday from MM requesting the layout I submitted for the Jan/Feb issue. I’m so psyched about this one because I used the absolutely delicious Basic Grey Eva line that just came out at CHA. I LOVE this line. Of course, I love everything and anything BG but this one will definitely be one of my all time faves (until their next release! LOL!)
I’ll leave you with a pix of a layout I created a couple of years ago using the BG Vagabond line… which truly IS my all time ever favorite paper collection from any manufacturer! I love this picture of Logan, even though he is not smiling (very rare!). I really played with this and it is soooo technique laden. It took me countless hours to do but it was well worth it. I love this not-so-little-anymore booger!
Tonight I’ll be heading out to “crop” with some of my girlfriends. I don’t usually land up doing anything except helping others and yakking and eating… It’s ALL good!
Have a FABULOUS FRIDAY!!!!!

Okay, Renee is back and posted some screen shots to help me get this picture thing going. If all goes well there will be a photo of a layout I created with one of my very favorite photos of the boys when they were little. We used to LOVE to go to Blowing Rocks beach. They would have so much fun climbing around all the nooks and crannies there. This layout was done using a Prima paintable, done with watercolors and distressing. Fingers crossed… here goes:
This layout was published in the 2008 Memory Makers Idea Gallery. Memory Makers is one of my favorite magazines. I also LOVE all of the Somerset publications… I even read the ones that are not memory art related like their Altered Couture publication. You should check them out sometime… truly full of eye candy. IF you feel like it, leave me a comment and let me know which publication/s is your favorite.
Have a blessed day!

The boys are home from Scout camp now. I actually had to pick up Logan early because of ear infections… totally NO FUN! And now Phillip has one too. Thank goodness for antibiotics and such. What an icky way to end summer vacation.
Logan will be starting back to band practice tomorrow. School starts in a few weeks. The marching band always starts practicing a few weeks before school starts. The kids seem to really enjoy it despite the heat and humidity.
I still can’t figure out how to upload pix on here. I have a bunch of stuff I’d love to share. I am hoping my friend Renee will take pity on me and help me out. It really stinks being such a computer dork!
Have a wonderful day!
